Mike made his musical theatre debut in Hugh Jackman’s The Boy From Oz working along side his musical theatre mentor Kelley Abbey.  Mike then performed in Cameron Mackintosh’s Miss Saigon. He then moved straight into the Tony and Helpman Award winning show Wicked where he understudied the role of Fiyero. David Atkin’s production of Hairspray was next before Mike took out the $250,000 when he was crowned winner of  Channel Ten’s I Will Survive.

Mike then earned a Helpmann nomination for best supporting actor in a musical for his role as Kyle the UPS Guy in Legally Blonde.

He is now playing in Baz Lurhmann’s critically acclaimed Strictly Ballroom.

Mike has been teaching and choreographing Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Broadway Jazz for 15 years and that wealth of knowledge and experience is a huge asset to Fit 2 Move. He has a certificate 3 in personal training and is also FIT2MOVE’s vocal coach.
